How many children will wake up excitedly this Christmas morning to find that Father Christmas has left them a puppy, kitten or pet of some kind? And what better present could a child have, than a fluffy, fury or feathered companion?
And yes, keeping a pet comes with a cost (food, vets bills, bedding or cages…) and they need lots of love and care (walking, grooming, cleaning…) but the rewards are quite simply priceless. After all, is there anything to compare to the loving nuzzle of a treasured pet pooch, the contended purr of a prized cat, and, best of all, the daily delight such pets bring to the children in their lives? We don’t think so!
