My new Mummy and Daddy

My new owners are called Michelle and Ian. They love dogs so much that they work in pet care. Michelle is a dog groomer – which is like a doggie hairdresser. She takes us to work with her sometimes, so that we can have fun and play with all the other dogs in the salon.

Ian and Michelle also run a very important busyness – or is it a business? - to help doggies and their owners. They provide something called Microchips – which isn’t the sort of chips that you boys and girls like to eat in a cone – but are clever things that can be slotted under our skin to say where we live. This is good because if we ever get lost or someone tries to take us away there is always a way for us to get back home when we’re found. Does your pet have a microchip?

Ian and Michelle’s busyness also does something called Pet Inshurance, which is important because we pets sometimes get poorly or hurt – just like you boys and girls. The inshurance means that our owners don’t need to worry about spending lots of pennies when that happens. Does your pet have inshurance?

Ian and Michelle love me and my four brothers and sisters very much. They take us for a walk every day, and give us lots of snuggles and yummy food to eat. We are very lucky to live with Ian and Michelle.

(Dear boys and girls, Treasure isn’t very good at spelling. Did you spot the spelling mistake? When she says inshurance, she means to say insurance. Poor Treasure, it is a difficult word to spell. And she’s only a puppy after all.)
